Nick Layton is a professional musician, guitar teacher, and graduate of
the Music Careers Mentoring Program. Nick also performs music live, and is a
member of the band Firewolfe. In addition to being mentored to achieve higher
success as a pro musician, Nick also his improved his guitar playing with Tom
Hess’s online guitar lessons.
In 2008, Nick released his debut album “Storming the Castle.” He has also
teamed up with Tom to release several instructional guitar products. These
include Phrasing Concepts for Rock Lead Guitar Soloing, Killer Rock Lead Guitar
Legato Phrasing, Innovative Arpeggio Guitar Phrasing for Advancing Metal
