How To Use The Rolling Technique To Improve Your Shred Guitar Sweep Picking

One of the techniques you must master in order to play lightning fast sweep arpeggios on guitar is the "rolling technique" in your fretting hand. Rolling involves collapsing the first knuckle in your fretting hand fingers to help articulate the notes, and play arpeggios cleanly.

When you get your fingers to fluently "roll" the notes on the strings of the guitar, you will be able to play fast guitar arpeggios with very little effort. Once you master this shred guitar technique you will be able to insert fast sweeps into your guitar playing any time you want. Watch me clearly demonstrate the rolling technique in this sweep picking rolling video to start playing incredible guitar arpeggios of your own.
