How To Become A Pro Musician While Avoiding Bad Music Career Advice

Chances are, you have told those close to you about your passion for becoming a professional musician. In most cases, musicians who express their desire to pursue a professional career in music are met with all kinds of (bad) advice on how to become successful with a career in music. In fact, it’s likely that most of the “advice” that you are given on how to make it in the music industry, is not advice at all; but rather conventional wisdom that others have come across (or even made up).

It can be very difficult to discern between the good music career advice and the bad music career advice. The first step in figuring this out is to make sure that you ONLY take expert advice from true experts who have achieved great success in the music industry. This will help you avoid taking the wrong path in your music career because you listened to the advice of someone who didn’t really know what they were talking about. Read this interview conducted by Ryan Buckner where I discuss common music career advice to learn more about the truth behind what most family, friends and other non-musicians tell you about the music business.
